The movement, which raises awareness and funds for prostate and testicular cancers and men’s mental health, has grown over its two-decades-plus existence, but famous faces championing the moustache (or “mo” in Movember terms) for men’s health and well-being only helps the cause.

GLEN POWELL AND COLEMAN DOMINGO
Okay, this may not be for entirely altruistic reasons, but as the two stars of The Running Man hit the ground, well, running to promote for their upcoming remake, they are also hyping up Movember.
The studio behind the movie, Paramount Pictures, will match donations of $20 or more to participants’ mo spaces (up to $30,000).
But what will be your mo inspiration — Domingo’s epic ‘stache or Powell’s babyfaced beginnings?

LEWIS CAPALDI AND TOM DALY
Despite fake moustaches being against the Movember rules, singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi and British Olympic diver Tom Daly are just two celebs who have partnered with Google Gemini for their #Gen_a_Mo campaign.

It’s a way for those wary of going all the way to test-drive different moustaches using AI to find the perfect mo.
While there are some critics rankled by the championing of using AI, it helps that for every moustache generated and posted Google will donate £11 (about $20) to Movember (up to £1 million ($1.8 million) for men’s health.

Celebrities who have taken part in past Movembers include gold medal-winning “toboggan’r” and Amazing Race Canada host Jon Montgomery, who is a two-year mo bro.
He shared his journey on Instagram, where it remains bookmarked at the top of his page.
Other stars who have hyped up Movember include Stephen Fry, Stephen Merchant, David Oyewelo, Nicole Scherzinger and Bear Grylls, all of whom took part in a public service announcement explaining the importance of the moustaches.

“The sexiest men who ever lived all have moustaches: Tom Selleck, Burt Reynolds, the Swedish chef from the Muppets,” Merchant says in the PSA before urging people to “feel sexy by growing a Mo this Movember, and help to change the face of men’s health.”
Grylls noted: “Of all the things I’ve done in my career, taking the plunge and growing a moustache has resulted in the most response from folk around the world.”
The survival expert added: “Of course, in the wild, a hairy upper lip is an essential for warmth and stealth — so this Movember, join us and grow a Mo. Because whatever you grow will save a bro.”
